Last week for spreading Christmas gloom

It always feels a bit weird when people give my books as Christmas presents. It’s a time of joy, after all, fun for all the family. My gloomy tomes are generally light on joy and festive fun (apart from LAST CHRISTMAS, of course).

The final section of THE LONDON TRILOGY takes place over Christmas and the New Year, of course, and (tenuous link) I wanted to thank CHRIS HALL of the recently re-launched DLS REVIEWS for penning a great review of AUTUMN: DAWN. Chris’s reviews are always incredibly detailed and considered, and I never take them for granted. Huge thanks again to him. It’s great to see DLS REVIEWS back on the scene. You should definitely bookmark the site and check back often.

You can read the full review at the DLS REVIEWS site here, but I’m sure Chris won’t mind me sharing a quote…

For me, this book hit all the right spots. There was no disappointment, never a feeling of the author pandering to his audience, but rather a refreshingly honest portrayal of a post-apocalyptic vision which the author loves painting in vivid tones of human emotion…

…And it works. Fuck, does it work. The book is as thought-provoking as it is tense.

The deadline has passed for international orders, but this seems like an ideal opportunity to mention that if any UK readers want to grab a signed book from www.infectedbooks.co.uk, this is likely the last week you can order and be sure of getting your book in time for Christmas. There are bundled paperbacks and beautiful LONDON TRILOGY hardcovers available. Click on the images below to find out more.

UPDATE – since this post was prepared, Chris has also now reviewed AUTUMN: INFERNO. I’m currently waiting with bated breath for his thoughts on book three…
