Strangers – reissue update

Apart from the odd movie and book recommendation, I’m conscious that updates have been thin on the ground so far this year. Please be assured, the quiet is because I’ve been working. I’m naturally an introvert, and I’ve made a real effort over the last 12 months to try and be more visible online, but I’m also a great believer in only saying something when I have something to say, and I’m not going to bore you with word count updates or the details of what I had for dinner last night just to get clicks and likes. Also, the world’s a fucking mess, and what’s going on right now feels more dystopian than anything I’ve written. I don’t know about you, but for me it’s been therapeutic to focus on reading, watching, and writing.

All that said, I wanted to quickly let you know what’s happening with the 10th anniversary STRANGERS reissue I talked about at the end of last year.

This started off as a straightforward project to a) standardise the look and feel of all current INFECTED BOOKS releases, and b) produce hardcovers of the few IB titles that didn’t originally get collectable editions. However, after digging deep into STRANGERS and completely re-editing the book, I’ve decided there’s much more I want to add to this re-release. With this in mind, the launch of the new hardcover edition has been put back until early April 2025.

If you’re signed up to my mailing list, you can pre-order the hardcover edition today at a specially discounted price. You’ll find all the details at www.theinfected.co.uk – the site where mailing list members can access exclusive writing and offers. This includes KEMBERTON – a brand new novel that I’m serialising as I write it. Six new chapters were added in the latest update.

Signing up is a cinch. It’s free, and I promise not to bombard you with too many emails. All the details you need can be found here.
